Remember
The places, voices, rituals, jokes, music, and ordinary courtesies that made the city feel shared.
The shared frequency
The signal is us
We Are New Orleans
A call back to the shared experience of living together in a good, fun town, and a call to choose it again.
The places, voices, rituals, jokes, music, and ordinary courtesies that made the city feel shared.
Use the local business. Know the neighbor. Attend the thing. Put something useful back into circulation.
A city is not only what happens to it. It is what the people in it repeatedly decide to do.
More than nostalgia
WRNO borrows the rhythm of familiar call letters, not the identity of a former station. The project is about the civic frequency underneath them: the sense that New Orleans was something people made together.
That experience was never perfect, and it was never automatic. It was practiced.
Stories, neighborhood memories, local businesses, music recollections, shared rituals, and small civic commitments will begin appearing here.
